Hello everyone,
We had quite a busy weekend this weekend! We spent Saturday at Uncle Mike & Aunt Chrissy's house (Todd's aunt & uncle) for a family BBQ. We were able to see family from California that we only get to see once a year and that was really fun! Then on Sunday, Todd's cousin Maria had her little girl, Miley, baptized and we spent Sunday at Uncle Mike & Aunt Chrissy's again for the baptismal celebration. Of course we took lots of pictures... hope you enjoy : )

Gracie & Matthew

Hello everyone,

I thought while I had a few minutes I would send along some new pictures. Grace is progressing and doing better. She still has some episodes, but is much better overall. On her last visit she had gained 6 oz. since leaving the hospital (when she was sick). She goes again tomorrow and we are hoping she has gained even more.

Matthew loves his sister (maybe a little too much sometimes), and is a really good helper. He wants to help me with her, but does not always know his own strength. lol. He likes to feed her and give her the binky. Any time Grace cries he immediately runs over to her to check on her and will even call out to me to come over. He rubs her hair and says "Hi Baby" or "Hi Gracie" when I feed her or change her. He is doing so much better than I anticipated being that he has been a complete Mommy's boy and the center of attention for so long.

On the other hand, he is almost 2 and acts like it often. His latest thing is climbing on anything he can. He climbs on the counter and opens the cabinets to get his own snack, climbs up on the sink to brush his teeth, and has frequent meltdowns when he does not get what he wants... you get the picture. I really cannot turn my back on him for a second. Nana tells me that is how his Daddy used to climb on everything...guess it's genetic! Terrible twos are upon us for sure and they don't look like they are going anywhere. Overall he is good though and is talking up a storm. His newest words & phrases: "Apple juice please," "Again please" (referring to his book), "pee pee," "Maaaaaaaa!!!" when he needs something, and of course, "Hi Gracie!"

With two under two things are busy, but we are so thankful. We hope you all get a kick out of our 2 sweeties and are also hoping this finds everyone well : ) Enjoy the last couple weeks of summer!

Grace Isabella has arrived

8 lbs. 12 oz.

19 1/2 inches long!!!

We are thrilled to announce the birth of our little Grace : )

Matthew has been such a good boy so far and is very curious about his sister.

She has already faced some hurdles and has been in and out of the hospital for reflux, what they think is a milk allergy, and possibly a bacterial infection. She is doing better now and we are thankful for that!

We hope this finds everyone well and enjoying the last days of summer.
